Best movie of the year: Nacho Libre

A movie, written and directed by the same peeps who did Napoleon Dynamite, with Jack Black, about a priest who wrestles to raise money for his orphanage. It simply doesn't get any better than this:

I'm there opening day.

So it is...

Well, it is based on a true story of an actual priest who wrestled in his spare time to raise money for his orphanage.

Yes, seeing a movie I won't enjoy far as much as my friends way before they see it is a jolly good feeling.

From the preview of it I saw, it didn't seem to have much respect for the vow of celibacy. That's my big worry about it.

Maybe I'm just being judgemental... :idontknow:

Yeah he does try to earn the respect of the nun in a bad way. Furthermore, when outside of the church has celibacy ever been respected, with regards to christianity. I have seen countless comendations on buddist celibacy, from the matrix. So yeh, hollywood does a good job on mucking up the good stuff.

Other than that I wanna see it.

First of all, he's just the cook, and I don't think they take a vow of celibacy. Secondly, you have to remember the guy who wrote this film is a devout mormon, so I doubt he would disrespect religion or be the typical hollywood stereotype. Thirdly, just like Napoleon Dynamite, it''s rated PG. Not PG-13, but PG. How many movies have that rating nowadays?
