actually, they would probably say the Father did all the dirty work, ya know, with all that OT killing and judging, and then he thought he needed to reshape his image so he projected the image of a human being and walked around for a while to show everyone that he was really nice and loving.

i've been hitting up Filipino message boards. it's hard to debate in Tagalog. i'm so used to debating in English

anyways they're teachings are out there.

it makes you wanna say "put the crack pipe down and walk away"

example
Also in Acts 7:18-19:

18Till another king arose, which knew not Joseph. 19The same dealt subtilly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so that they cast out their young children, to the end they might not live.

If we accepted that verse 19 was speaking about Joseph because his name is the closest to verse 19, that would be wrong as well. Verse 19 is not referring to Joseph, but rather the new king who "arose" in verse 18.

so, let's examine 1 Jn. 5:20. If we were to say that the true one made known by Christ is Christ, then it would appear that Jesus Christ has a Son:

- "We also know that the Son of God" [this is Christ] "has come and has given us discernment to know the one who is true."
- "And we are in the one who is true" [let's accept, for arguement's sake that this is referring to Christ.]

That would appear to mean that Christ, the one who made known, has a Son, the one who was made known.
I can't say I've met the Son - but I was the best man in Kermit and Miss (now Mrs.) Piggy's wedding.

Wow. I don't know how you debate because I don't get it. But then, it probably doesn't help that I'm on all sorts of pain medication right now. Though I don't know if I would get it anyway.

I miss hamburgers. lol

So there are 2 Jesuses One Father.

Are both Jesuses the Son of God?

or is one the son of one of the jesuses?

That is bizarre. I've never seen Bible interpretation like this. I'm getting a headache!

Does this group believe that Jesus had a flesh and blood or "spiritual" son, like the projection someone else talked about? It seems that they would have no problem with the Da Vinci code...

then God did not “so love the world” so as to enter into our world

in the person of Jesus Christ in order to love us as one of us.
Beautiful, Father Cappie! Your post was poetry :)

that's exactly what they believe. they believe that since Jesus has flesh and bones, he's not God.
