Anyways... I have part of the spreadsheet put together... I could use a little help making sure that what is currently in there is correct... You all can view it here:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pAq...0U_AuGPvfFShDJg
I have yet to add the OSCs, PCPAs, and all the Carmelites. The list so far is about 70 different communities.
Any help is very much appreciated ^_^

Okay for the OCD nuns, this list may help, as it's from the official OCD site, and updates on new foundations, like Brooklyn - http://www.ocd.pcn.net/ocd/n2_usa.htm

Gemma has them separated well under their federations on her site, only that not all the Carmels in St. Joseph's Association are 1990 Carmels - http://cloisters.tripod.com/id63.html. You don't really have to separate them this way on your spreadsheet, but just for your information. Here's a link to the thread on this - http://www.phatmass.com/phorum/index.php?showtopic=58540

The 1990's, with all the links I could find are: (I know this list is correct because I got it from the Des Plaines Carmel)

Alexandria, SD
Brooklyn, NY
Buffalo, NY
Dallas, TX
Des Plaines, IL
Erie, PA
Flemington, NJ
Iron Mountain, MI
Jefferson City, MO
Kensington, CA
Lake Elmo, MN
Louisville, KY
Mobile, AL
Pittsford, NY (Schenectady, NY recently joined them)
Traverse City, MI
Valparaiso, NE (Indult Latin Mass & Office)

I think Georgetown, CA follows the 1990's in all ways but that they are under the General Superior of the Carmelite Order (1991's) rather than directly to the Holy Father (1990's) - Gemma told me this.

Basically, I would like to just have O.Carm and OCDs seperated out...

Are the federations listed above all OCD? (I am thinking they are, I just want to verify)

I know there is a link to a contact/listing of O.Carm's at the top of this page...
Anything I ought to know about them?

I would go to the IRL site for info about them - they have 2 communities listed that look very good. I know that the ones in PA found the body of their Mother Foundress incorrupt, and there is an investigation going on now about it .. Search under "Carmelite Ancient" in the keyword search, and you'll find them.

Then there are the O Carm cloistered Carmelites in Hudson, WI. They are not associated with the IRL, but are the same order of cloisterd Carmelites as the PA and ND ones. They seem a little bit more liberal, and their veils are different simple veils, but Denise, His Child, was just telling me she heard they are faithful to the Holy See and everything. They are not really an off community, or very liberal or anything. Here's their site: http://www.pressenter.com/~carmelit/

For the OCDs, Gemma's got them separated well on her site under their respective Constitutions. I'm not sure if it's updated. But I know there are several in the St. Joseph's A. that are 1991s.

Yeah, I'd say stick to separating the 3 O Carms from the 60 something OCDs, and that'd be good enough, for the list you're making for prayer requests for the vocations Conference .. Otherwise, it would get too complicated ..

Then there are the Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel , in the O Carm Order & the Carmelite Hermits of the Trinity, associated with the OCDs. (there may only be one in this community so far)

A lot just from phatmass, especially Denise, HisChild. She's a real Carmelite expert. ^_^ I learned about the 1990 & 1991 Constitutions of the Discalced Carmelites from Mother Maria of Jesus at the Iron Mountain, MI Carmel, who was incredibly charitable and helpful. What a wonderful Reverend Mother she is ..

Wow... I'm definatly impressed...

So is there only then 3/4 O Carms or are there others? I know there are many OCDs... I will be getting to work on those...

I'm also missing some papers that I printed out maybe last summer with a ton of contact info about the Carmelites and even Poor Clares too. I just have no idea where any of them have gone! I can find about half of the papers though.

Most of them do not speak English (from Mexico).

I'm pretty sure they have Perpetual Adoration.

I got them on my list along with the other 3. I know that both them and the one in Denver speaks mostly Spanish. I want to say there is a third that speaks Spanish as well. Maybe it is both of the communities in Colorado. I'd have to go back and look at that list I had.
