Yea, just keep thinking that. Nobody MEETS on line. You wanna meet me. Do you know who I am???? No, you don't. Your parents might think it very inaproppriate to hang around sombody like me. I know that I'm not like that but you don't. And nothing I say on the computer can confirm that one way or the other. You can read my posts as though I am attacking you, or informing you, or joking, or caring, ect. There is no trust on here. NONE.

It is unfortunate that you believe the same train of thought as your mother. I wish you would demonstrate why it is worse to meet say, heavenseeker, at your house with your parents there than meeting some guy she met at the mall. Unfortunately the internet has been under attack by adults probably because they cannot understand it thereby fearing it. The rapists and molesters aren't just on the internet. By all means keep her sheltered, but don't let her go to school, or walk the streets by herself, or be with an adult alone, or go to college.

ok, so lets say I'm a murderer. Ok? Not to scare anyone, lol. And you say, well it's not different to meet her than the person I've met already @ the mall. So, I go to your house, and your parents think I'm a great person because I've gained your trust, and I come to your house with a pack of 5 killers and ... .yeah. It doesn't turn out nice, so you see, there is no trust with people that can lie all they want because the internet has no concequences. What you don't realize is that the internet is a whole world where you can do anything, you can make up anything you want, and there are NO consequences for any of it, killers are great for it because they can gain your trust through lies, and then it's easy for them to meet you and do something terrible. Now its much different when meeting someone you KNOW is a real person. Going to college is wayy different because your around a REAL place, your IN REALITY. Your face to face with real ppl that you can't nessacarily trust, but there are consequences and you can't go around lieing to everyone. You see?
