Maria
Well, if there were no masses being said in Montreal, I'd probably spend the weekends/Sundays with my relatives in Ottawa. (Depending on what speed you drive, and which relatives, it can certainly be more than 3 hours.) I think we prefer the Orthodox masses because they're not deliberately out of union. HS_Dad
> I would rather burn at a stake and die a horrid death then enter into a baptist church for service.
Wow!! I grew up as an Evangelical (Baptist) and my grandfather was a Southern Baptist minister. I didn't realize our churches were so evil! Many Baptists around the world are serving as missionaries and others have died for the name of Christ. Indeed in Nagaland, India, the population is overwhelmingly Baptist and seminaries are training many locals to evangelize Christ to neighboring Indian provinces... Praise God!!! If there were no Catholic Church for a three hour drive.... I would attend the best Evangelical Church nearby (even if Baptist! ), attend Orthodox mass frequently and drive at least once every three months to the Catholic Church. I would stay FAR away from the sedevacantists. They strike me as the kind of people who would want to burn Baptists at the stake!!!! (It's this attitude which lead to the death of Tyndale, who gave the English speaking people the written Word of God.) I'd probably move soon to attend a good orthodox evangelically focussed Catholic Church. I've even thought of moving to Madison to fellowship with the Evangelical Catholic folks http://www.evangelicalcatholic.org/ . Extra ecclesiam nulla salus
Hi HS_Dad i assume you are somehow related to HS_Mom. i know some sedevecantists. they do not burn baptists at the stake. they are in schism, not heresy (like the Orthodox, or baptist), and their masses are valid, so it would be "better" to go there.
