philothea
I wouldn't go to either. I'd drive when possible, and move ASAP.
EcceNovaFacioOmni
I would drive, but if I had to chose between the two - I'd go to the Orthodox. At least they see the Bishop of Rome as a patriarch and not a fraud as the Sedevacantists do.

EcceNovaFacioOmni
Canon 844 §2. Whenever necessity requires it or true spiritual advantage suggests it, and provided that danger of error or of indifferentism is avoided, the Christian faithful for whom it is physically or morally impossible to approach a Catholic minister are permitted to receive the sacraments of penance, Eucharist, and anointing of the sick from non-Catholic ministers in whose Churches these sacraments are valid.

OLAM Dad
I would drive. The Greek Orthodox would be my second choice. The sedes are just nutty and sad.
goldenchild17
First choice for Mass would be either the CMRI or SSPV sedevacantist Mass. SSPX, Most Independent, and also the FSSP Masses are perfectly fine options for me. No Novus Ordo, Eastern Orthodox, or any other service for me though . XIX
They can if there is no Catholic church near by.
I think he meant objectively. I think. I'd do some research, but then I'd probably try to take a friend for the 3-hour drive so I could do homework on the way or talk or something. I doubt i'd be able to do that every week, though. I have driven over an hour to a Trid Mass, just because I wanted to go to one. I'd try to find out if they have transubstantiation. (do they? I know the SSPX does). If absolutely necesary, I could put up with the sedes or the orthos, so long as I get the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. But yeah good question. missionseeker
We drive an hour and a half for Mass every week. So I suppose an hour and half more wouldn't bother me. It's the $$$ that'd be hard to handle. I'm guessing you're doing hypothetical but for a lot of people that's not very hypothetical.

Dave
Sedevacantist chapel is definitely out. While Greek Orthodox would be preferable to a sedevacantist chapel, the Greek Orthodox forbids Catholics to receive Holy Communion in their churches even if there's no way for them to receive Holy Communion in a Catholic Church. So I'd drive the 3 hours to the nearest Catholic parish and the other 3 hours back.

Noel's angel
I wouldn't move somewhere if there wasn't a Catholic Church near. But, if by some freak accident I did, I would drive. It's worth it for Jesus. Heck, walking it would be worth it.
