check out this article about the amazing work of the new bishop of Kansas City.

maybe this should be under open mic, so please feel free to move, but i put it in here because reading this article really gave me a sense of peace. in the american church today, particularly in my neck of the woods, its so easy to get discouraged when looking to the Church leadership for positive changes.

reading about the wonder and awe alive in this successor to the Apostles reminded me of the constancy of the HOly Spirit, if only we wait with faith, hope and most importantly love.

so yay God and yay Church and many prayers for Bishop Finn

I think we are in a time in the Church where the wheat will be separated from the tares. Bravo Bishop Finn. Many will leave the Church but it is quality, not quantity that we need. Gideon's army was whittled down to 300 men before they went to battle.

i don't even know the details of the diocese (although i would match it against mine ANYDAY ), but just the reality of a true shephard herding his sheep to the tune of Mother Church and not his own agenda is so.... iNSPIRING
