Da Vinci......who's going

Great......so go see the movie. Go fund and pay the bills, for a movie that says your God is a lie, your religion is corrupt, our Cathedrals have hidden architecture in the form of a vagina........wow let's all dialogue
Go to www.Godspy.com and you can read the full article of how Christians are being duped into "Dialogue" with the the Da Vinci......
We can argue all day, but I'd rather not. Are you going to help pay for a movie that spits on the Faith and Heritage of our religion> While your at it, go to a slayer concert to dialogue too........
My faith is totally strong and I "dialogue" all the time. But I have enough commonsense and background on my faith to go against any of the claims the Da Vinci code holds, yet I do not need to see the movie to know and defend my Faith.

Your right ironman. There's really no point in dialogue. Thank you for making that clear to me. Come back when your not so self righteous.

Didn't say I was going did I. Are you the magestium with infallible declarations of what is and isn't sin? I heard a very faithful priest a week or so ago, it happened to be that guy on EWTN for life that said there may be reason to go for someone with apologetic interests. I guess you know more about Catholic morality than he does. He did not recommend it for the average Catholic. The money thing does bother me and so that is why I will probably wait to rent it on DVD if I see it.

Hopefully X-Men 3 blows it away at the box office when it comes out on May 26th and takes away it's profits and steam.

ahh, I don't know, I don't really want to go on the opening weekend, but I think if I don't I'll miss my chance to tell everyone else how wrong I thought it was

I am not sure if they sell bootleg dvds in " a future existing in possibility". If they do, you should much rather pay for that than add to the profits of the movie.

Another alternative is to wait until after the first weekend to see it. The ratings for movies matter most on the first weekend.

I believe buying a bootleg DVD would be breaking the "give unto Caesar what it Caesar's" thing. I can't imagine the few Christians who are actually debating whether or not they should see the movie are going to sway the ticket sales that much.

To keep things in perspective, just know that in a few weeks this whole DaVinci Code thing will be old news. :)

Besides, what about all the other movies that spit upon our faith in less direct ways? How many of us are laughing at jokes about premarital sex and promiscuous lifestyles, divorce, greed, and whatever other sins in other movies? Is it any better? At least DaVinci Code doesn't insult our intelligence with some kind of silly "moral" that's supposed to make everything okay in the end.

WELL SAID, my friend!

by the way, "The Code" opened at the Con Film Festival in france, and out of five critics, one liked it!

alotta people walked out at the climax--others just laughed!

i have no plans to ever watch this blasphemy, this assault on Catholicism! No way! never! there's NO REASON WHY ANYONE NEEDS TO SEE IT!!

go see "Over the Hedge" this weekend instead...that one is co-directed by a Christian, as well as supposed to be funny!

I'mma watch it cuz some of my friends are going to. I know some people who take it way to seriously, so this will help with confronting them about it. However, I heard the movie wasn't that great. That's a dissapointment, but oh well.
