Now, I have a friend, who providentially was in that phi class, who is finishing-up college sem and seriously considering entering. He is a deep, deep man of prayer. Then again, I'm not very familiar with how much time is spent as a community. That would intrigue me. To my understanding, they are very hermetical. Then again, I've only read about them from their website, and that isn't always everything. God bless those chosen to recieve this precious gift! I learned a lot about their way of life from this book and greatly admire them. I would recommend the book to anyone interested in learning about the Carthusians.
