hyperdulia again

Anna, Foundsheep and I cannot read every post on every thread. The last time I saw sum1 called a liar I asked everyone to stop the name calling. Unless I've missed something it hasn't happened again. If it does the post will be deleted and the name-caller warned.

Do you deny that many protestant denominations, if not most, consider ALL denominations combined to BE "THE Church" described in the Bible? Come now, Circle! There is no unity among those churches, no VISIBLE connection, save, perhaps, the KJV, which they all interpret according to their own understanding.

There is but One Church, built by Christ, like a city on a hill, for all to see, with a visible earthly leader at the helm.

You know exactly what Likos meant, and you're just dancing around calling him names cuz you don't want to have to address the hard Truth he presents.

Twice he has posted all the Bible verses for you pointing out the family bloodlines of those called "brothers of Jesus." Have you even read it yet? Or are you too afraid he'll blow yet another of your unbiblical fantasies out of the water?

I wish to say this:

When certain people posted liar, falsehood, and Likos together, this is such an absurdity that I didn't bother to even acknowledge it.

Never has Likos posted a falsehood that I have seen, and if he did it would never be knowingly. I have seen him clarify, explain, and all the rest to be certain he's being understood.

Likos, you are the gentleman I have always revered; that you are upset means there is a weighty reason for it. I hope this little post helps to defend your honor, though you need no help from whiskied me.

Likos: :cheers::beer::clap:

Actually, when you hit "report" it goes to our email. I don't know about Foundsheep, but I only check my email once a day, so many reported posts go un-noticed. PMing a Mediator of Meh would be a better bet to get speady action.

Thanks hyper. I will follow your advice the next time this occurs.

I'm sure many have noticed that those posts have really riled mother hen's feathers.

Do you deny that many protestant denominations, if not most, consider ALL denominations combined  to BE "THE Church" described in the Bible?  Come now, Circle!  There is no unity among those churches, no VISIBLE connection, save, perhaps, the KJV, which they all interpret according to their own understanding.

no, denominations don't believe they are 'THE Church', they believe they are part of 'THE Church'.

Twice he has posted all the Bible verses for you pointing out the family bloodlines of those called "brothers of Jesus."  Have you even read it yet?  Or are you too afraid he'll blow yet another of your unbiblical fantasies out of the water?

Not at all - it is quite lengthy and I have already explained it is not worth my effort or time to argue. Jake stepped out of a debate today, are you going to mock him as well?

As to Likos deceiving... here's a few places

This means that Protestants believe that Jesus either was not God and lacked the power to ensure that His Church remained faithful to His teachings, or that He was just kidding and didn't really mean what He said, or that He was lying. - Likos knows this is not true, yet says it anyway (deceit)

Bruse S and all Protestants, while claiming to believe all that Christ taught, say the Holy Spirit, God Himself, failed to fulfull His assignment of leading the Church to all truth ALWAYS, and that He also deserted it. There are many theories about when this happened, but Protestants are sure it happened, thus accusing Jesus AND the Holy Spirit of (a) not keeping their promises and commitments, and (2) of not being God, or (2) not telling the truth, or (3) deliberately lying. - Likos knows this is not true, yet says it anyway (deceit)

Where in the Bible does it say God used the Church and discarded it after the Bible was formed? Is yours a capricious God who changes His mind? (Answer: Yes.) - Likos knows this is not true, yet says it anyway (deceit)

Thanks, Jake. Circle labels everything he can't answer as "false" or "insulting," as you'll soon come to know for yourself. - Personal Attack - no basis

All Protestants are copy-cats of Luther. - insult

Unlike you, I don't believe I can improve upon the doctrines taught by the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. - insult and deception (he knows I don't believe I can either)

Since Once Saved, Always Saved was invented by Martin Luther in Germany, he defined it HIS way.

There is no truth to the doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved. None. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Jesus Christ didn't teach it, nor did the Apostles. It was born out of the deranged mind of Martin Luther in the 16th century. - Likos is familiar with Augustines paper 'On the Perseverance of the Saints' - purposeful deception

You mischaracterize our comments. They're not "anti-Protestant lines." They are TRUTH. It's the TRUTH that is anti-Protestant! - insult

Didn't they teach you the truth in Bible College, Circle?  - insult

The truth is not to be found in any Protestant church. They are all based upon their human founders' personal interpretation of the Bible, and all their doctrines are man-made. - insult

Protestants have a portion of the truth, the portion they 'borrowed' from the Catholic Church (such as the Trinity) - He knows our scholars only agree because they have determined the same thing yet pointedly insults still

The Protestant "right" of private interpretation of Scripture has been expanded now to the right of private interpretation of the documents of the Catholic Church! Oh, what would we do without your infallible knowledge and wisdom, O Circle!? Now, if you could just write a grammatical English sentence, our gratitude would be complete, O learned one. Salaam. - personal insult

Christ wrote a book, called it "the Bible," handed it to his Apostles, and said,

"If you convert anyone, just give 'em this. Let the Christians fight over it. Every guy and gal from now until the end of time has to figure out for him or herself what it means. I'm certainly not going to tell them. I want followers who think for themselves. Won't it be fun watching them from heaven? Hardy har har hee hee (slaps his knee). - Likos knows protestants do not teach that - blatant deception

that you believe that there is no such thing as religious Truth, that Truth is variable. Truth is whatever you decide it is, based on your own individual interpretation of the scriptures or whatever you are using as a measure of truth from moment to moment. A True interpretation today, but perhaps not tomorrow. Truth for you changes every time you change denominations. Religious "truth" is changeable, flexible and fluid from your perspective. - Likos knows this to not be true - blatant deception

This is a typical Protestant ruse: when you can't answer, dodge. And "echar la culpa," as they say in Spanish -- "throw the blame" elsewhere. - insult

I couldn't let your statements stand without shining the light of Truth on them. Is the light too bright? - insult

You can hide and watch and stay out of the fray, if you wish. You are welcome to lurk and learn. - personal insult

the only list in existence is the one you "borrowed" from the Catholic Church. - Likos knows this is not true - deception

It's hard to get your mind adjusted to the fact that the NT was written by members of the Catholic Church, eh? - insult

Tch, tch, Circle, you consistently resort to ad hominems when faced with questions you are unable to answer. - insult, no basis

Absolute certainty that I am right and you are wrong, yes. - insult (actually this is more depressing than offending)

One of the differences between my posts and yours is that I have the historical documents to back up every statement I make. - insult, no basis

I can only hope that you will abandon the personal attacks and answer my questions -- and if you can't, admit it. - insult, no basis

I read every one of those statements by Likos, and I am rotfl.

I just realized that you haven't been able to refute a single thing Likos has said.

He is right.

You either call him a liar, or say that he's insulting you.

Because you cannot refute his facts.

If you could, you would.

But you would rather cry and call names than answer his charges.

Take all the lines where you said "blatant lie." Then tell us the Truth (as you see it) and give us references.

Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Likos' purple post is not THAT lengthy.

You are just afraid of it.

You know that he's got you in a corner, and you're too proud to concede. So, you'd rather hiss and spit.

Pax Christi.

I have replied to every single thing he has presented Anna except for a few in the 'Mary a virgin!' thread. You know this as well -. As for refuting him? I believe my answers were sound biblically, historically, and theologically. However we are from two different worlds so of course you would never accept my rebuttal. I am not going to get dragged into insulting you either - I understand you are concerned about Likos with his health condition and everything. If you would like to mock me again, go ahead, but that is not the way I see 'charity' being presented. I will point out when someone is being unfair, be him protestant or catholic. I have called bruce on some of his statements - even if you don't see all the 'behind the scenes' stuff which goes on.

the same reason he isn't a literal door, or a literal corner-stone.

Ahhhhh......but how many disciples walked away when Christ said He was a door...or a vine...or a cornerstone.....as opposed to those that walked away when He said to eat His body and drink His blood.

would you walk away if someone said to you

'eat my flesh! then you will live!'

I know I'd look at them quite oddly and be like 'what the heck you talking about. you know cannibalism is wrong!'

then they add in

'drink my blood! then you will live!'

I'd probably blink, make a face, and then respond 'you do realize we aren't allowed to drink blood?'

they are a bit odd statements you must admit
