hyperdulia again
*speaks in ultray whiteboy voice* No wodi. We have no desire to drink a fawty with you tonight. I could use some brandy in a warm glass tho'. I played cards! I ate fish! I made a new friend! OK I went to interview this lady, Jaqueline (she's a minister), about this youth program at her church, they assign young wanna be thugs to the mothers/wives/girlfriends of men who have been killed or put in jail in there neighborhood and try to give them some insight on what the future might hold for them if they don't get on the straight and narrow. She's really cool and looks about twenty-five, but she's fifty. As I was pulling into the Housing Authority Complex, this guy named Tyrell ran up to the car and tapped on the window. He almost scared me to death. "Hey! Hey Lil' Dude what you doin' here?" "I'm here to in.." "You got a cigarette?" "Umm...Yeah." I went into my pocket. "What kind?" "Camel Lights." "It don't matter. Give me one." "Ok." I gave him a cigarette. "What you want here?" "I'm here to interview Jacqueline Taylor." "Oh..Re'm Jackie, she upstairs. On the left." I went upstairs interviewed Jackie and her daughter. When I came out, Tyrell sitting on the hood of my car. "What's your name?" He almost barked. I jumped a little. "Mi..Michael. Yours?" "My friends call me squirt, but my name Tyrell." "Nice to...." "You wanna go to a fish-fry?" I looked confusedly into his eyes. "My sister's having a fish-fry. You wanna come?" "Umm...No." "Why not?" "I just don't." "Whatever." He got up and started heading down the street. I like fish. I yelled after him, "Wait, I'm coming!" So, I went to a fish-fry and played various card games with Tyrell, T, Daveboy, and Lashondra, and others. It was a rather enlightening and enjoyable evening. Norseman82
LOL - I live in Brooklyn, NYC. NONE of you guys have seen the ghetto until you have visited NYC! They're everywhere over here. Don't make a big fuss out of it though. I highly doubt the "ghettos" over there can even stand next to the ones here. Just walk in that joint acting like you've lived there all your life. Don't be afraid...we can smell fear! LOL - but don't over-do it and act like you're gangsta or anything like that. Good luck bro! Well, I live in the People's Republic of Daley (aka Chicago) and today's "ghetto" is tomorrow's yuppieville.....
