Didacus
I am working on trying to read the entire Bible. And I used the CCC as a 'reference' document type of thing, like a dictionary. I read in it when I have specific questions - like a dictionary. Edited May 8, 2006 by Didacus
morostheos
I started reading the Bible a while back and got halfway through Judges I think, and I've read most of the New Testament. I second didacus on using the CCC as a reference tool. Although I should probably read it more often.
the flutehonker
I'm working on the Bible...still a long way to go but I'm working on it... I found that calendar thing over on The Word. Werd. section especially helpful in organizing my reading a bit more.
Piccoli Fiori JMJ
Well, I did some of the readings for my Biblical Studies course last year and then I did the New Testament part of the Great Adventure Bible Study. So I probably got a good part of the Bible done, although not quite half I would imagine. The Catechism is a reference tool and I use it as such, but I have read a good portion of it in doing so. But maybe, if I am lucky, I've read about a quarter of it. You should see all the tabs and such sticking out of it though... lol Okay, so it isn't as bad as I thought it was... I think most of this was from my Pol Sci paper on Poland... EcceNovaFacioOmni
Trying to fully read both this summer. It's likely not to happen, but I'll try.
Brother Adam
"Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ." Affirmative on both counts.
prose
I have read 90% of the Bible (I just missed Numbers and Deuteronomy) But I have truly neglected reading the Catechism. I am currently in a study groupon Fridays that reads the Catechism, but I am sorely lacking in catechism reading..

Socrates
My mom read me and my brother the entire Bible when we were kids, if that counts. I've read large portions of it since. (And isn't the "no" option redundant? - seems that would be covered in "more than half," "less than half," and "not at all")
Ash Wednesday
Read the bible from cover to cover. Can't say the same for the Catechism. Good idea... I'll get on it.

journeyman
CMom rules . . . : Parts of the Bible several times . . . all of it . . . once - and working on the second The CCC reads a lot better than a dictionary . . . but is a tough front to back read. Using both styles, I think I've read more than half but less than all
philothea
I've read three different translations of the bible... er, a bunch of times. Not sure of the exact count. (I am a freak however, and should be ignored.) I've probably read over half the catechism, but it's much less readable. No action!
