jasJis
If you smoke and don't inhale, you don't get high. It does alot more too you. Your ADD friend is an idjut, he just doesn't realize it. It increases short term memory loss. It increases the likelihood one could develop schizophrenia if smoked regularly as a teen. It fosters cultural acceptance of drug use, and as such, pot smokers are significantly more likely to use other drugs. Smoking 1 joint ingests as much tar and other compounds in amounts similar to a pack of ciggarettes. Don't take my word for it. You're on the internet. Look it up at Pro and Con sites. Pot is illegal and most employers have mandatory drug testing because we get discounts on liability insurance. Mandatory drug testing places also have to have a random drug testing policy. Unless you want to work at the burger joint all your life, say nope to dope.
ardillacid
Old alert. It isn't illegal in Denver , I think maybe they were trying to lure professional athletes when they legalized it Edited May 3, 2006 by notardillacid

St.MGoretti
It should be illegal for many reasons, the first being that it is a drug that impails judgement and character. It is not a drug that helps with ADD. A friend of mine has been getting into it lately and you can say that you don't get addicted to it but it's not the drug that you get addicted to it is simply the state of mind that it puts you in. Once you start smoking it it is extremely hard not to get wrapped in it and make it a habit. Yes it is a lot healthier for you then a cigarette but it still destroys your body and mostly your mind. And yes, it will lead to an open door to other drugs. A priest put drugs to me this way, "Our body is a temple, a gift from God, why would we ever want to put anything into our body to hurt God's temple?" RC_
I have a friend who takes it for leg spasms. He doesn't like the side effects (getting high), but they are far better than the side effects caused by the medically accepted drugs out there. And, yes, you do get addicted to it. Anything that alters your brain chemistry can be addictive, both psycholigically and physiologically.
