:) I will, I'll try to get some pictures to share as well. I'm still waiting for Mr. Zak to call... he said he'd call when leaving... well, about 45 minutes until he said he'd pick me up!

Beautiful Church. Let me just start off saying that... here's the bell tower:

I'm a rather bad picture taker, so I don't take many pictures... like at all... So, sorry, no photos of the auxilary bishop, Fr. Stan, One of the Nashville Dominicans along with many of the other communities... I did catch a few with out posing, but it was great fun. :)

(Yes, those are two Nashville Dominicans and also some other Dominican Sisters, but I am not sure where they are from...)

And let me tell you... you shoulda seen this Sister dancing... WOW. Talk about a crazy nun...

That's all I got. :) It was wonderful and I had a great time...

Thanks also to Mr. Zak for giving me a ride out there!

Ooooooh my goodness... I need to tell this story...

I was walking up and down the hall surveying all the nuns and their 'wares,' lol and I would get coaxed over to talk to them and I started talking to the Felician Franciscan Sisters and I started discussing that I was discerning with the Poor Clare Colettines and so on and so on, and before I left, the VD was telling me something like: "If the contemplative thing doesn't work out, give us a call"
Woah! It was like, they're trying to foist their community on me! I was a little bewildered after that. And the tone she said it in too was kinda startling to me. That was the weird moment of the day aside from Sister dancing like a mad woman to the 'happy song'

The other Dominican Sisters are with the Congregation of the Immaculate Conception from Justice Illinois

I met them at the IRL Conference, they are a newer community that came over from Poland if I remember right

With regards to the Felicians... I have known them for quite a while and I can tell you, knowing the vocations director that she was simply trying to be friendly and supportive. She would never try to poach. She just wouldn't. So don't let it bother you

Thanks for posting the pictures... I never take the time to get any

Some of the nuns dancing were priceless

You should have seen it from my vantage point on the stage. Not to mention the Brothers of St. John and Fr. John Schork from the Passionists who is a bit older than me. He's still trying to figure out why he agreed to get out there when I invited him to do so and called him out by name

Glad we could take you. Sorry I didn't have time to visit. Maybe more time at camp

I coul have stayed there until the wee hours visiting with all of priests, brothers and sisters

and FR STAN was in top form, what a GREAT DAY

:topsy:

I'm not letting it bother me, but it just seemed kind of odd how it happened... :idontknow:

It was hard to get any pictures of the dancing Priests, Brothers, and Sisters from where I was, but the Sister I took a picture of was dancing long before the others were. Wow... she was bustin' a move... I am sure seeing them all dance was a hoot! :lol_roll:

Also, Fr. Stan had said something that a Sister had once told him:

"If you're going to be a priest, be a good one or none at all."
