Proud2BCatholic139
Right now, I just feel kind of annoyed and peeved. I try to do the right thing, but yet, people see the other end of the spectrum which they really don't see the real side of a story. I get caught in the middle and I am forced to choose. I end up getting 'hated' because I am not on one side. I try to be a good person, it's not good enough. So, essentially, I don't know anymore. Is it so wrong for caring? uruviel
oh Jen, i'm not sure what your reffering to, but it's not wrong to care. I'm sorry that everything works out that way it's hard. St. Therese said that, somehow the good things she does know one ever notices, and the mistakes she makes, show up clearly. People always seem to notice the wrong things about you and never seem to look for the good things you do. I'll pray for you

[/quote] Everyone wants to be liked....just don't put so much of your self-worth in it. You might be having a rough time, but don't give in to feeling sorry for yourself. Take a step back & look at things objectively. They're likely not as bad as you think.
Proud2BCatholic139
It's not the issue of being liked... It's the issue about what happened
ReinnieR
it's not wrong to care for someone. Jesus was hated, spat on ridiculed and crucified. You think you would have it this easy? our Lord our God had to go through it. Just take up your cross and follow him. Matthew 5:3-12 3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. 5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. 6 Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. 7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. 8 Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. 9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. 10 Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you and utter every kind of evil against you (falsely) because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven. Thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

St.MGoretti
Some people simply can't see your good intentions. You are acting because you care for them and if they can't see that then that is there issue. You are simply trying to help them and sooner or later they'll realize, they'll realize that you care for them. You always need to care, for Christ as cares for us.
