Debra Little
[quote name='phatcatholic' timestamp='1146228759' post='963861'] with the melding of the converts board w/ the apologetics board into the new transmundane board, the top got a little cluttered with pinned topics. but, i don't want to lose these threads from the converts board b/c they are really important. so, below is a link to each one. make sure you check them out regularly, especially if you are a recent convert to Catholicism. Noel Yheaulon
I don't want to be an anonymous convert. You are all correct, however, in that it is extremely difficult to practice without a very strong catholic community to lean on. Especially, if your friends and family are not christian in any respect or anti-religious. With that being said it would be best if converts had a way of identifying themselves or had some community on here that they could cling to in trying times. There is nothing more lonely and discouraging than being your only close Catholic friend, craving friendship and pep, and not being able to find it.
