An Exorcist Tells His Story by Fr. Gabriele Amorth (I'm seriously thinking that ALL priests should read The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis and then read Fr. Amorth's book... what an eye opener!!!)

The World of Prayer by Adrienne von Speyr

(yes, I've thus expanded my collection)

Right now I'm kicking back with a terrific horror fiction anthology: The Dark Descent, edited by David G. Hartwell. Short stories by contemporary masters like Stephen King and Clive Barker, as well as old legends like Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, M.R. James, and Ray Bradbury. I have a real yen for this stuff.

I've also been reading How the Catholic Church Built Western Civilization by Thomas Woods, Jr. Highly recommended; an informative and entertaining read, as well as a good source for apologetics.

LR I think you'll love Letters. I read it to my Dad after his brain surgery. It's fascinating. And quite well written of course. I think my fav chapter (1st one I think) is about the gritiness of Catholicism. It opens with a consideration of what St. Peter saw from his upsidedown crucifixion.

Quo vadis Domine?

new bibles are the best. I love them too... they're so exciting!

Finished Fr. Amorth's book (good, good read), and have thus picked up Josef Pieper's "In Search of the Sacred"
