The New Wine of Dominican Spirituality: A Drink Called Happiness

In this book, it is revealed that if one adopts the Dominican way of life, Joy is imminent... (unless you are a melancholic doormat like I am)

anyhoo, it's been a good read so far:

Summa Theologica - St. Thomas Aquinas

filled with "aha!" moments.
along with "say what?" moments.

My copy of "My Beloved" is on its way to our doorstep.

I've scanned Seven Storey Mountain, but I have read other works of Thomas Merton like The Sign of Jonah and The Waters of Siloe.

Saints and Sinners: A History of the Popes by Eamon Duffy.

Not at all dry... in fact some of the Renaissance Popes section is quite raucously funny.
