bookofjohn
Hi everyone Recently, I met 2 Mormon Missionaries(Elders) and I became their friend. And of course... I had a dialogue with them on Mormonism; mostly focused on what Jesus said in Matt16:18("..the gates of hell shall not prevail.") and Peter(the Rock which Jesus used as the foundation for His Church). To cut things short, the Mormon Missionaries seem to not accept my explanation or put it into consideration, no matter how logical it sounds! Seriously guys, I do not know how else can I help them see the truth, except to pray for them. They are really really nice people, and one of them called me up today to ask about me and whether I have read the Book Of Mormon they gave. And also by the way, I told them I would meet them up sometime soon. Any tips on how to evangelize to Mormon Missionaries? Any ex-Mormon here? Thanks. Would really appreciate your comments/ideas/opinions ^_^ BookOfJohn

JuCa
I was good friends with a few mormons in my past. At first...my friend just invited them to her house because we figured it wouldn't hurt learning a little what they believe just to be a bit more educated on them. Needless to say..their ideas are a bit...crazy. Very nice people though! If you are strong in your faith...stay friends and keep evangelizing. I know that we were able to explain more of the Catholic faith to them.
dUSt
Every time the Mormons come visit me it always comes down to me trying to get them to explain why the Book of Mormon is inspired. They always have a hard time, and I still don't think I've gotten a straight answer.

nikkan_hanil
Funny that you bring that up. A while ago, a friend of the family had some Mormons knock on her door and she invited them to come in and say the Rosary. After they were done they said that they couldn't believe how amesome it was. Funny how things work.
