Is this God's way of telling me I should go to..um..Nashville?

I still don't have any explanation for my results.

If you do, can you get me some autographs from some of the musical celebrities?

61% Dixie. I was looking for lots of other distictions that weren't tested:
Frying pan/Skillet
Gutter/Downspouts
Dragonfly/Devil's darning needle
Greasy (hard 's')/greasy ('z')
Eaves/Overhang
Terms of endearment such as 'baby,' 'honey,' 'darlin','or 'sugar'
How is 'smothered' food cooked?

54% Dixie. Barely in Dixie

The remainder mainly show a heavy NE influence which is so sad. I lived in Reno, NV until I was seven then finally hightailed it to TX. Must be a boatload of yankees in my family negatively influencing my speech patterns...

Blame it on the national media - they almost won't put an anchor on national television unless they speak an upper MIdwest dialect that most people consider "unaccented".

Does this mean I have to read your posts with a Southern drawl now?

Rexi--Does this mean that you move your lips when you read?

Sorry, that was mean, but you DID set up that line beautifully. How could I resist?
