jasJis
I haven't labeled you yet on PM. I'd get warned again. : Mercenary- Paid to serve in a foreign army. Look it up. These guys were security for private contractors and military support personnel. They aren't members of the army. The armed Pinkerton guards at the rest stops in Florida must be mercanaries too. Let's just be honest.
Snarf
The question was, what are the advantages of mercenaries in the presence of special ops forces. I was not saying they're the same thing.

I was not saying they're the same thing. [/quote]And the response is: Who are you calling mercenaries? Is that an accurate use of the term? What are they people actually doing? Who pays for them? How much is a fair pay for what they do, who they are working for, and what the conditions are? Edited April 27, 2006 by jasJis
