stbernardLT
That sermon just made my day. Thanks. This past week my faith has really been struggling but Now I know it is directly related to the fact that I recieved communion unworthily during Easter. This puts everything in perspective. MichaelFilo
You knew and recieved anyway? beaver dam son. beaver dam. You might as well have shot yourself in your soul... but you already know that. now I'm interested, what compelled you? For the guy in the story it was Voltaire, but you, a more solid Catholic? stbernardLT
We wanted to go up with the whole family for Easter (all four kids) and my wife couldn't do it alone. Just a silly moment of weakness, this hasn't happened to me in many, many years. I went to confession immmediately and got back in line. I might be solid most of the time, but I'm never perfect. MichaelFilo
Please don't take what I said earlier as too critical, but at that point in my life when I realized what I was doing to the Lord whom I kept distant yet loved, my being, quite honestly, tore in two. This news is almost as bad as Jas-Jis's leaving of the Church, maybe worse, maybe less, I don't know where they rank. Thank God for his mercy and I'm glad you went to confession; and I understand the temptation, so don't let me sound preachy, it is just an issue that I take to heart very much. jasJis
God forgives and seperates us from our sins. As separate as East is from West. Let him alone. He went to confession.
