toughened up? :idontknow: northerners are whimpy and dramatic when it comes to a little heat... and sweat. it's not THAT bad... you just have to get used to it. i admit the first week or so is a bit uncomfortable. :P:

It's 85-90 degrees in the city, depending on where you are here. . .and yet, where I'm GOING in only 3 days. . . is only 69-70 degrees.

EEEEW sweat!! :pinch:

It can also be turned around though ;)

"southerners are wimpy and dramatic when it comes to cold...and frostbite. it's not THAT bad...you just have to get used to it..." :D:

I get a kick out of the southerners who come up here wearing thick winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, snowpants, boots, long underwear, etc...when it dips below 50 degrees. :P:

What are Texans supposed to do? It's HOT down here. It's roughly 92 degrees in Houston but with humidity (which houston is known for) at around 93% it makes the temperature at least 100 easily.

We were stationed in Yuma AZ for 4 years..temps could be 115 and up in summertime. 80 degrees inside was lovely. One learned very quickly not to go barefoot on concrete
