I hate it when children disobey their parents. Or when they say that they are disobeying their parents, but they just want attention.

You have a lot to learn. Stop with this line of reasoning....

*I will run circles around you, slapping you on the back of the head as you swing at me missing......*

Your level of Catholic education is sorely lacking.
Except it is common in our culture for women to wear pants, and we have women's style pants.  As long as it's modest, who cares?  I wore slacks last night to Mass, and they were modest and made for ladies, not for men.  I wore one dress three times already (I might get it cleaned before wearing it again) and my other dress was sleeveless and I didn't feel it was appropriate to approach the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament in a sleeveless dress.

Is it inappropriate to wear something sleeveless to mass? Seriously. I'm new to this and have no idea. Cause I do it. Should I not wear tank tops, even if they are modest?
On days like today, or Christmas...It really grinds my gears when you have those twice-a-year church-goers sitting behind you at Mass talking and giggling during the consecration.  Had I no reverence myself, I'd turn around and ask them if they had any idea what was going on. I go to the 3 hour Easter Vigil to avoid this crowd. It's a wonderful mass, the music, the lights, the readings, the new members of Catholic church, and more! We have a reception afterward to welcome the new members.

I also attend midnight Christmas mass to avoid the twice a year crowd.

The way I'd look at it is this way...

When you're walking into church, you're walking into God's house, obviously. So then, take it in the literal sense, if a female walked into God's house to chill with Him, do you think He'd really kick her out for wearing pants?

Keep in mind, this is God, the creator of the fluffy air extraction.

If you believe it's modest, do what works for you. I didn't feel comfortable because I believe in keeping the shoulders and legs covered for Mass. That's my opinion. Yes, sleeveless can be modest, but I don't feel comfortable going to Mass wearing it so I don't.
Yeah, there were tons of people like that at my church last night. :( It was really hard to pray. There weren't just a few talkers; there was a dull roar of people laughing, talking, joking, generally acting as though they were waiting for a movie to begin.  (Actually, it seems quieter before movies than in this instance.) One woman ahead of us was asked to be an Extraordinary Minister just after she had been making fun of plenary indulgences with her daughters, who were sitting with her.  :ohno:

I hope most of it is just ignorance on their part, but it really is sad when people fail to realize where they are. It's as if people have lost all sense of the sacredness of silence.

And I wasn't the only one bothered. My seven-year-old brother whispered to me that the people sitting around us needed to go to the crying room. From the mouths of babes.

Then why go to Mass?
Wearing Pants has always been condemned by the Church, including in the Summa.

Reply to Objection 3. As stated in the foregoing Article, outward apparel should be consistent with the estate of the person, according to the general custom. Hence it is in itself sinful for a woman to wear man's clothes, or vice versa; especially since this may be a cause of sensuous pleasure; and it is expressly forbidden in the Law (Dt. 22) because the Gentiles used to practice this change of attire for the purpose of idolatrous superstition. Nevertheless this may be done sometimes without sin on account of some necessity, either in order to hide oneself from enemies, or through lack of other clothes, or for some similar motive
I don't wear men's pants; I only wear women's pants. It's kind of like how Scottish men aren't condemned by the Church for wearing kilts.
