Proud2BCatholic139
Well, yes, it is my senior year. I am not the type of a girl to go to dances, but I really wanted to go to prom. I had one date potential, he said no because he is not a dance guy. I knew this, I don't know why I asked. I had another date potential, he said yes, but he didn't know because he had an Eagle Scout Dinner. Well, a girl whom I know sent him a message saying that she is the friend to give Jeremy the 3rd degree. So, I was so embarassed that I told him to forget about prom. Well, I ask him again and he said his dinner was on the 6th. That's when my prom is. And if Jeremy is working on that night I am going to be so mad. Oh, well... So, I was about to give up, until my friend Eric who goes to Normandale CC, was talking with me on the phone and I mentioned prom about how I wasn't going. And he said he asked if he could escort me to my prom and pay! Yes, I finally found a date for prom and with a really cool Catholic male!!! I am so excited!!!! It should be a lot of fun! I am so excited!!!

Proud2BCatholic139
Thanks! Now I am in need to search for a great dress. Dresses these days are not necessary modest and are not classy. Any suggestions on where to go?

Proud2BCatholic139
That's ok! I was thinking of going bowling afterward! I think that will be fun to bowl in a prom dress. It's nice, Eric and I are a lot a like and we have the same interests, and I think bowling will be interesting. Any suggestions on what to do afterward? WillT
Wow, it's been a really long time since I went bowling. And even longer since I went in a prom dress. Seriously though, since you said he is a "cool Catholic male" I would suggest going to Adoration beforehand. It'll help you keep your head if any temptations etc. arise. I'm not sure if you could really do that in a dress and tux, but maybe before you get all dressed up?

There are Christian modest clothing lines out but I don't think any of them do homecoming/prom etc attire. That would be a very very cool thing for someone to start. Heck, if I had the money and the resources I would even be down with operating it just so that teens have modest options. hahaha well shows how much I know. I just googled and found this http://www.modestprom.com/buyagown/ mabe this can help
