Don't look for Heather Graham or Tara Reid. Heather Graham was born Catholic but is now very anti-Catholic, and both can be seen posing nude. :shame:

It's sad to see people who have converted away from Catholicism. We really have a crisis of people not knowing anything about their faith and then buying into those door-to-door people.

I did some research on Kerry Kittles. Turns out there are 2 sisters and 1 priest in his family and both his mother and father work for the archdiocese of New Orleans. All of his basketball cards show his proudest achievement is being a Eucharistic Minister in the Church. I could write a more substantial blurb on him, but it appears that he is very devout. Read that at Villanova he was insistent on finding a mass to attend when away on road trips playing basketball. He deserves some cred!

Okay, so are you guys who are listing these Catholics volunteering to do the write-up about them? Cool! I hope you have them to me by the end of January.

Thanks for the help.

Dom DeLuise is Catholic.

Dom DeLuise first broke into the entertainment industry in the early 1960s with numerous roles on and off Broadway and has since become an American icon, best known for his work over the years with director Mel Brooks (The Twelve Chairs, Blazing Saddles, Silent Movie, History of the World – Part I, and Robin Hood: Men in Tights) and as sidekick to good friend Burt Reynolds (Smokey and the Bandit II, Cannonball Run I & II, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and The End). In the last few years, DeLuise has also become known as a best-selling author, writing two "Eat This" cookbooks, as well as his well-received children's books, "Charlie the Caterpillar", "Goldilocks", "King Bob's New Clothes", and "The Nightingale."

DeLuise is particularly devoted to Mary. "I collect Blessed Mothers statues," says DeLuise. "They give me comfort. The Blessed Mother is someone I pray to all the time. In fact, I use her as a mantra. When I'm in my car and there's traffic, I pray the Hail Mary."

Ash Wednesday

Count me in, I would love to help. I'm always sniffing around to find out celebrities and how they approach their Catholic faith (or lack of...)

I would also advise having a "grey" rating for celebrities known to be Catholic but whose stances on the faith in their life (living or dead) are not certain (at posting... obviously as more information becomes available that rating can change...)

Or is that what the yellow is about? Silly me!!!!!!! :cyclops:

One of my FAVORITE actresses, Moira Kelly is a Catholic -- she attends confession monthly and consults a priest on her roles in movies. There was a wonderful article on her in YOU! Magazine (Catholic teen magazine) in the early 90s. I really loved it.
