franciscanheart
sweetpea, I was reading an entry that moneybags has up and I thought of you. I noticed a couple of blogs written by soon to be "ex-Lutherans" and thought maybe either reading those blogs or conversing with the authors might help you some. Here's some of what moneybags writes:
Kim - I'd like to start out by congratulations Kim on her journey to the Catholic faith. She writes on her blog, Transitus Tiber, that she was a Lutheran before she made this journey to the Catholic Church. At this coming Easter Vigil, she will be received into the Catholic faith. Her journey has obviously been hard for her as her first post illustrates, so please welcome her and pray for her. ... Cjmr - She will be making the journey into the Catholic Church from Lutheranism this Saturday. Please pray for her as she joins so many others in making such an important step.
Read them... or not. Just thought I'd share.

Instead of being sad that it's gonna be another year at the most for me...after this Easter.... let the countdown begin!!!
LouisvilleFan
I'm also converting from the Lutheran church... I just replied to moneybags' post the other day about the same thing. Well... he even edited the post to include me. I didn't even feel left out, but that's pretty cool
son_of_angels
Well, technically speaking, I'm also converting from the Lutheran Church. First, I was baptized in a Baptist Church, but, mid-stride of my journey to the One True Faith, I made a pit stop in a very loving, very caring ELCA Lutheran congregation. Here I found the beauty and wonder in liturgical worship, and followed this with a discovery of Catholic doctrine in and around my "High Lutheran" leanings. I almost went Anglican, but decided that, if I was to go for it, I should go all the way. Hic enim sum!
