Dodgey Mass on campus

That sounds like a mass a Jesuit priest said at my home once. We had chairs going in a circle with my dining table as the "altar," home dishes used for vessels, self-communicating, even the pita bread (from Trader Joe's)--though, the priest did read the gospel and give a homily. I think the wine was just regular wine. I didn't know at the time that it was abuse...you really should talk to your bishop. For me, this was just once, but if this happens all the time and there are students going to this, then yeah...

You really should talk to the Bishop, because sadly, a lot of the people involved don't realize things are wrong...it wasn't until recently that I'd have realized that this was in fact wrong.

and secondly,
I have seen this too. It's scaaaary. I don't know if it still goes on, but it wasn't a community that sought out new members, it was an older community that was bitter that their fruit-loopy interpretation of Vatican II is wrong and they want to hold on to heresy as tightly as possible.

Pray for them. They have no idea what they are doing.

And yes, alert someone who can put an end to it.
