EcceNovaFacioOmni
I recently asked Dr. Joe Mizzi of JustForCatholics.com how he could trust a consortion of books (the Bible) that was put together by a group of men whom he says have no authority or guidance. If the Church is wrong and not protected by the Holy Spirit, can the Holy Scriptures that make up the Bible be trusted? Does anyone think he'll reply? Has anyone else debated with him before? He appears to be very arrogent in his writing. I don't think he cares about "saving Catholics" as much as he does about just blatantly opposing anything the Church does. I just want some resources on this man, thanks.
MrsFrozen
That's a great point, and I sure hope he replies. Unfortunately, I see so many Protestants who are just like that: not caring about "saving Catholics," but only about blatantly opposing anything the Church does. Joseph
That is exactly one of the main reasons as to why I converted from Protestantism last year.......How is it a church that is so fallible discern what writings were divinely inspired and put together an infallible book? And also if it is an infallible book, how is it Martin Luther had the power to edit it? I think it's so funny that some people act like the Bible just appeared one day out of nowhere all put together with the books and in order........no one ever wants to look back at history
cmotherofpirl
To read history is to cease to be protestant. Welcome to Phatmass and welcome Home to the Church. There is a checkin thread at te top of open mic if you want to introduce yourself. :) Edited January 3, 2004 by cmotherofpirl

EcceNovaFacioOmni
Sorry, the site is actually Justforcatholics.ORG, not .com. His reply didn't make sense and didn't refute my arguement in the least. He said something about he trusts the council made the right decision. He still isn't getting the point I was making. I continue to ask him questions and he tries to dodge him. He is exposed.
