ironmonk
No more "Christ" with a capital C in the Netherlands Brussels, Oct. 19, 2005 (CNA) - According to a new grammar rule in the Netherlands and Belgium, the name "Christ" will soon be written with a lower-case "c", as stipulated by an orthography reform published last Friday. According to the Kath.net agency, the new spelling rules also will stipulate that the Dutch word for "jews" (joden) be spelled with a capital "J" when referring to nationality and with a lower-case "j" when referring to the religion. The changes will be mandatory starting in August 2006.
This is just a another step toward them outlawing Christianity. The Dutch have legalized infantcide... their government is evil. Wouldn't be great if thousands of people emailed them periodically the following.... Paladin
Ah, the dutch. Before long, they'll make 1337 5p34k the official language of the netherlands.
Didacus
My mother was telling how several dutch people where emigrating to Canada because they no longer feel welcomed in their own country. Those who moved to Canada where telling my mother how some muslims or Islamic coffee shops had signs posted saying 'No Dutch allowed'. Seems a little far fetched - anoyone else hear about this? In Nortthern Ontario Canada, during my grandfather's generation, several work places like mines and such had signs at their entrances stating 'Speak White'. This meant that workers had to speak english, not french. History always has a certain way to repeat itself doesn't it (or you can say, humanity always seems to have a certain way to never learn the lessons history tries to teach).
That's only the tip of the iceberg...they've also legalized euthanasia, and Amstredam's red light district is notorious for it's "window shopping" and "hash cafes". There was an article in the Chicago Tribune this weekend about how the Dutch government is having all immigrants into their country view a DVD showing homosexual behaviour and immodest females with a message saying basically, "This is what we are, if you don't like it don't even bother coming here". (edit: found the article: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationw...ack=1&cset=true )
Is Islam now islam as well? I think it's coming to the point where the only salvation for Christian culture and values in western Europe is to have the Muslims take over. MilesChristi
Well, look at the bright side - considering the rate of contraception in those countries, they probably won't exist in 50 or 60 years.

If WWIII was to break loose, I think Islam faithfuls would be our allies rather than our ennemies, our ennemies being the secular and paganistic culture of death. The ennemy of my ennemy is my friend (but as a good Catholic, of course I love them both).

Thy Geekdom Come
Church Punk, I'm not sure what you meant by that verse, but it should be stated that Jesus also said that he who is not for you is against you. In other words, taking both as true...there is no middle ground.

I like that. My eldest son when to a school named Don Bosco for a couple of years. Howver, Saintly as he is, in my eyes that statement has some wishful thinking within it. We cannot simply stand around and 'hope for the best'. The time comes every now and again that we must physically defend ourselves. I've met several different islamists and Muslims in my days, and generally spekaing they are just as disgusted towards the secular culture as we are. In fact, you would be surprised if not shocked at how similar our views can be. Keep in mind though that I did not meet any 'fundamentalists' or 'extremists' either. That was when they all were still Jews. After Pentacost, it's another story. There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church (this includes physically and spiritually for those who are Catholic by desire but through no fault of their own are not in the Church)
