salveregina
It's in my "Movies That Make Me Want To Be A Teacher" category. Along with Dangerous Minds. I would love to teach those kids...the ones who are in such need of a person in their life that they know cares about them. It's like I always wonder when I listen to educators complaining about certain students who do not behave, and how they've tried everything, but little Johnny just won't listen...I always want to just ask them one simple question: "Have you tried loving that child?" That's all most of 'em really need, anyway. Yes, Dead Poet's Society is QUALITY. A good, dedicated teacher who inspires students to be who they are. Beautiful! Makes my teacher heart smile. Fidei Defensor
Oh Captain My Captain. - Walt Wittman
Besides the fact that Walt Whitman scares me, and the 70's edition of "Leaves of Grass" is highly disturbing, I like that movie. jezic
i thought it was alright, though i have never seen the whole thing. I like the idea of a dead theologians society better though.
