scardella
up up down down left right left right b a b a select start - Konami code... When changing the oil plus fiddler on your car, it's a good idea to prefill the new oil fiddler with oil. That way, oil gets to the engine faster on that first start up. (If the oil fiddler is sideways, only partially refill it with oil... that way none of it spills out.) It's a good idea to create a "normal use" user that is not an administrator and a separate administrator user for installing software and hardware and doing general system maintenance. This reduces your chances of getting a really nasty virus, adware, etc. on your computer.

Sliding on plastic causes static... rub the slide with a dryer sheet.

Old_Joe
Wouldn't some of the aluminum or even the writing on the can somehow transfer to the chicken?

about the aluminum or writing... but a good thing to mention is you have to open the bear can first... other wise the can tends to explode.... My dad has done this before... its good stuff.
That's beer can chicken! I have a grill accessory that holds the beer inside the chicken and holds the chicken upright on the grill. prose
Make a pouch out of a baby flannel sheet, fill it with rice, sew it shut, and it works as an excellent heating or cooling pad. Microwave it 5 mins to heat and it will stay warm for hours. Leave in freezer overnight if you would like a cooling pad.
MRSannie
large bag of frozen peas is also good for icing joints etc. but don't try to EAT the peas at a later date... (also, the beer can aluminum issue doesn't create a problem--enough grease in chicken to prevent that---no worse than an aluminum pan. We didn't spring for a holder because I hate to have anymore to wash up than I have to!!!)
HisChild
OK, here's something that might come in handy if anyone has surgery down the road (sorry, OR Nurse has to get in one more thing before she's off to the monastery LOLOL) If anyone has to have their appendix or gall bladder out, or various female surgery, a lot of times it will be done with a laparoscope. So, if you hear you are having a laparoscopy. . .and when you wake up, your shoulder hurts? It's because of the gas they use for the scope to be able to see. . . . sleep on the side that hurts (usually the right, for some reason). . and it will go away faster. Many people have told me that although they have repeated laparoscopies. . .no one has told them that before. I don't know if it's 'handy' but believe me, if it's happened to you, you'd want to know this! On to more genteel topics. . . . . How about, if you want a slurpee/slushy drink, but don't want to go to a convenience store, you can pop the lid on the can or bottle and set the soda in the freezer for just over an hour, and it'll start to slush up. (doesn't seem to work as well when it's in glass)
