lol, my first earthquake was in Chile . . . I loved it! I was like "Woah, I feel like I'm on the ocean" and then all of a sudden it started to shake and I was like "Yeah! Washing machine" (not the Selena kind).

Anyway, I'm glad you're okay . . . wimp . . . lol

Yes, we live here in central California about 2 hrs north of Paso Robles. I was in the car at the time of the earthquake so I just thought Bella was being bouncier than usual in her car seat. Brian called me from work after it happened and he said the place was really shaking there.

I'm a Cali native and after awhile you get pretty used to them. Although I admit than whenver one starts I automatically wonder if this is finally "the big one" and then I look to see what would bury me if it was. But so far we've been safe. We had a really big one back in 89 or early 90's and that one did scare me. It was hard and went on forever. I had to pretend to be in control so I wouldn't freak out my already scared siblings. But had I been alone I probably would have been screaming too!

Sissy. I've lived thru two earthquakes, multiple hurricanes and tropical storms, and sat on my porch while a tornado went by in the field.

Okay, so the earthquakes were really, really tiny. But no earthquake can be any worse than riding a bull...I think.
