I guess that is ok, and as I am sure Snarf can tell us the comprimise is made because the order of the words, Stupid and French, mean that it is seperately Stupid and French.

That is to say:

It is a stupid thing essentially or by definition. It is a stupid French thing accidently.

I hate all purposely stupid French things.

I still Love the French and pray for thier conversion.

Good. Now, the stupid French Socialism. Let's bash that.

That quote was actually said by Jed Babbin, although I've also heard of Lewis Black saying it so I don't know which of the two originated it.

Theo: you'd have a point if it was spoken something about "France and its stupidity". Exemplia gratia, if someone said "I hate France and its stupidity", there would be the clear indication that the body of France is hated, although it is so on account of its stupidity. You couldn't manipulate in the English language the fact that only the element of French stupidity is hated.

Funny you should use those two words in the same sentence.
Dude, it's just a joke thread, no one's serious...

Not a very funny joke, is it? I wonder if I started an American bashing 'joke' thread, what would the reaction be?

Xenophobia and racism are two apples from the same tree. The name of the tree is 'Hate'... it's a very short trip. Check yourself. Evil loves to hide in clothing made of 'humor'.

Wow, what an enlightened point of view. I'm sure Jesus would be very proud of you.

Yes, its indeed strange that Americans overall feel so ambivalent toward the French, especially keeping in mind the French were the only one's to support them in the American Revolution (and statue of Liberty is a gift from the French).
Si on veut parler propre, on doit dire "Vive la France".

...and yet that's probably got some mistake in it.

No my thundercat friend, that is precisely how it should be said.
Go type 'french military victories' into Google, and press "I'm feeling lucky"

I am aware of that.

The guys from Google seemed to have forgotten about a short little corsian who nearly conquered the entire Europe using the French army.
you do know that under their current center right socialist government job security was such that employers could NOT fire anyone within the first couple years?  So, they would not hire many people because they were stuck with them.  That's why the stupid French are rioting.

This thread is not about defending the French, it's about bashing them.  Now get with the program.

Centre right socialist is an oxymoron. Of course they could fire people. Just not for no reason during the first two years of employment. This will create a two year job cycle, where companies hire young graduates on a two year contract and instead of renewing the contract, hire more fresh graduates for peanuts.

You're all gun-toting obese Americans who watch Fox News and don't know anything about world affairs that take place outside your little USA-shaped bubbles. Oh wait, it's bad to say something like that, but it's ok to bash the French. My mistake.
