CatholicAndFanatical
Whats up phamily When I first registered on this site, last year sometime I was OnAJourney, because like everyone else, I was on a journey to Christ. Being new to the Catholic Faith I had alot to learn and do. But then earlier this year, prolly around May or June I got a demo copy of MC JUST's 'SuperNatural' song. The one line says "Supernatural, Holy Spirit Tactical, Catholic and Fanatical"...well I was hooked. I loved Christs Church, I considered myself a Fanatic. so it fit me perfectly. So I Stole it from him. I use this name on all the phorums I go to. So now im CatholicAndFanatical. seems to fit perfectly God Bless, CatholicAndFanatical
Sojourner
One of my favorite books of the Bible is Hebrews, and I particularly love Chapter 11, going through the list of saints from Abel through Moses. Hebrews 11:9-10, talking about Abraham, says, "By faith he sojourned in the promised land as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs of the same promise; for he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and maker is God." Then, in verse 13-14, it reads, "All these died in faith. They did not receive what had been promised but saw it and greeted it from afar and acknowledged themselves to be strangers and aliens on earth, for those who speak thus show that they are seeking a homeland." Even though I've lived in the same state my whole life, I can't say that I've ever felt totally at home in any of the cities I've lived -- and I don't want to. I want to remember to look forward to a city whose architect and builder is God, and to remember that my time here is temporary. I am a sojourner in this place. BLAZEr
Ok . . . so I have this devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and I want my heart to be a blaze for him . . . and I desire for the Holy Spirit to have a greater role in my life and I like that song "Let the Fire Fall" . . . and when I was praying what to name my youth group I wanted it to be something having to do with the sacred heart, so I split the scriptures and came to the 16th Chapter of Luke verse 22 "I have come to set fire to the Earth and how I wish it were already ablaze." so I liked it . . . BLAZE and it stands for Believer Living a Zealous Evangelization, which really sums up my life, except for that it leaves out "a miserable siner who fails a lot" but AMSWFALer doesn't make any sense. . . So I'm BLAZEr
musturde
My friend had this gel that turned his hair yellow (kind of like he had highlights) and so we used to tease him with it and I decided to make an AIM (aol instant Messenger) screen name out of it and give it to him but I liked it soo much that I kept it :D
cappie
Cappie is short for Capuchin Franciscan, a religious order in the Church. The Capuchins originated in the Franciscan movement and trace their origins back to St Francis. "Famous" Caps are St Padre Pio, Fr Solanus Casey a friar from Detroit whose cause for sainthood is currently in Rome, and the current Archbishops of Boston and Denver. There is a legend and I stress a legend, the friars "invented" the cappuchino. :D
nippy316
Nippy was a hamster we had for many years. And I used the 3:16 because at the time a wrestler (who shall not be named) was mocking John 3:16 at his matches, so I stole it and put it as my screen name. Needless to say, I've been nippy316 on every site ever since I can remember. I just don't like change.
