It contains the fundamental and essential elements of the Church's faith....It is offered in a Q & A format, which makes it easier to understand.

That should help.

Q 469. What kind of punishment may be imposed?
The punishment imposed must be proportionate to the gravity of the offense. Given the possibilities which the State now has for effectively preventing crime by rendering one who has committed an offense incapable of doing harm, the cases in which the execution of the offender is an absolute necessity "are very rare, if not practically non-existant." (Evangelium Vitae). When non-lethal means are sufficient, authority should limit itself to such means because they better correspond to the concrete conditions of the common good, are more in conformity with the dignity of the human person, and do not remove definitively from the guilty party the possibility of reforming himself.

[quote name='Seven77' date='Apr 5 2006, 03:14 PM']will it really be referred to as CCCC?

That's how everyone in the Apologetics Board refers to it. Easier than using the whole name.

Fides_et_Ratio

You know what's funny about it though....

It does not have the Our Father/Pater Noster in the back with the rest of the "common prayers"
??

That's perhaps a big oops.

it IS printed in Latin just before the section on prayer that discusses it, I just found it odd that they didn't reprint it in the back as well.
