what does it mean exactly to be IN LOVE?

Being in love and loving someone are two different things.

Being in love is the joyous happy beginning where you drop your ego bounderies and melt into the other person. It is overwhelming. It is glorious.

Loving someone is when that goes away, and you are left with someone who has faults and quirks that no longer amuse, who forgets to take out the garbage and you love them anyway. The first one can happen anytime, the second kind takes choice and work., committment and prayer.
