It begins tonight for those who live in DST zones. Don't be late for mass tomorrow...

Ash Wednesday

You know, we started the switch forward last week in Europe. No joke. I was so mad and almost missed mass because of it.

Over there it's hard to miss because there seems to be reminders and stuff... but here it's like, they just quietly switch over one hour. :annoyed:

It's little disorganized things like that here that drive me crazy.

You know, I heard something about the US pushing it back slowly to March also. 4/2 is much earlier than I usually think of it being. HSDad said he'd read it will be in March next year.

As long as the leave the ending in Oct. It usually falls near my birthday and who doesn't like an extra hour of sleep as a birthday gift?

I wish we'd have gone to mass tonight. The kids were up late last night (slumber party) and now they are going to lose an hour... :weep:

Yeah... I heard that on the news too. But I thought it would be four weeks later, as opposed to four weeks earlier.. but then again, I could be making that up entirely. I did not like when DST occured over Easter (my sister and I always served surnise mass... outside.... )

I must say though, that after living in Indiana for four years, it was nice never changing clocks... but even they have gone to the dark side now!!! :ninja:

HAPPY SUNDAY, ALL! :topsy:

The clock in the office here hadn't been change since last year. So, it's already correct.
