I'd much rather have a democracy than a dictatorship or a govn't where someone is just simply born to do the job. I want to have a say in the govn't

perhaps you'd care to explain the Aristotelian model of the universe on which the prevailing scientific minds of the middle ages agreed? And which was viewed more favorably than Copernicus' theories?

it was geocentric, placing the earth at the center, and the rotation of the planets and sun, etc into an elaborate, complex system of movements... it was this model that Galileo was arguing against in the 16th century
