Hey Phat,

All these links and posts and tracks...seriously, how do you find the time? If you don't mind, could you give a breakdown of your generic day's schedule? My theory is that you have some sort of time displacement device given to you by an upper-level Jesuit.

ohhhhh, dang dude, i laughed long and hard when i read this!!! thank you so much for that!!! ^_^

seriously tho, making entries isn't that hard to do. for one, i have a handful of trustworthy sites that i go to first. usually i find everything i need there, so i don't have to do alot of searching. if i do need to look around, that's not very hard either b/c by now i know exactly where to go. i don't even use google or any search engines. over time i've memorized the catholic presence on the net.

also, since it is something i enjoy doing and b/c i feel that it is worthwhile to alot of people, its a major extra-curricular activity for me. so, alot of my free time goes into it. actually, i usually have to make myself get off the computer and interact w/ people. no surprise that i found and wooed my girlfriend over the internet.....

of course, this time devoted to phatmass usually cuts in to other things which are higher priorities, mainly homework. b/c i'm relatively intelligent, i can do things at the very last minute and still get A's, which is actually bad for me b/c it encourages my procrastination. even after two college degrees i still have to work on good study habits.

finally, i tend to obsess over things. actually, there's no "tending" about it. i DO obsess over things. so, when i decide to make an entry, i can't just grab a couple links here and there and call it a good job. i have to scour the whole freakin internet, or at least every article from among my base of trustworthy websites. so, that's why these entries always end up so comprehensive. ask amy ("azaelia") or laura ("hugheyforlife") about how i get when i find a new website or a new article, haha. i'm a nerd :disguise:

oh, one thing i forgot. after i graduated w/ my masters, i started working third shift at a residential treatment facility. since i never really had a whole lot to do (that is, until they woke up in the morning) i was able to spend alot of work time on the directory. it grew massively during that time. it also grew a great deal when i was working at kroger b/c i was out of school and new to the louisville area, so work was my only obligation. thankfully, my twin bro was involved with everything remotely related to the archdiocese of louisville, so he plugged me into the scene. but, i was still able to do alot of work online.

plus, i just feel like its a mission and a responsibility. its something i'm good at, so i should use my talents to help people. since its important, its something i want to do, which is another reason why i put so much work in.

anyway, that's enough about me

peace,
nick

btw, just created a new entry on Transsexualism:
http://www.phatmass.com/directory/index.php/cat_id/788

this entry was more difficult b/c info on this is rather scant. now that it is finished, i think it adds something quite substantial to the internet. i know of no other site where u can get this much information on the Church's view of transsexualism.
