Hitler a Christian? Ontologically (correct word?) yes, theologically, absolutely not

Extra ecclesiam nulla salus
"It's a dirty, low thing to do for the Catholic Church to continue its subversive activity in every way possible and now even to extend its propaganda to Protestant children evacuated from the regions threatened by air raids. Next to the Jews these politico-divines are about the most loathsome riffraff that we are still sheltering in the Reich. The time will come after the war for an over-all solution of this problem." (Lochner, The Goebbels Diaries, 1948, p. 146).

Mussolini with Hitler. Hitler said, "Pius XII is the only human being who has always contradicted me and who has never obeyed me."

He was not a catholic...being a catholic is more than being baptised as one.

A Catholic would never have legalised euthanasia.

A Catholic would never have people different (Jews, gypsies, clergy, heck just about everyone that disagreed with him) placed in camps and butchered off.

A Catholic would never have started a war with the aim of cleaning another nation/race off the faith of the earth.

(…and the list goes on..)

He was no catholic, he was an insane sexual degenerate who destroyed the lives of millions (even hundreds of millions) and cursed his people with a guilt that time will never heal.

You are missing the point, the guy WAS BAPTISED catholic.
That is historical fact.
would you say that a catholic woldn't abort her baby?

it is not consistent with Catholic morals and beliefs to have an abortion. While the person is still baptized Catholic, doing that is a mortal sin and they need to go to confession.
No, I think you are.

In my first sentence I've already pointed out that he was baptised as one, however in itself it means NOTHING:

"...being a catholic is more than being baptised as one.."
...my old parish priest used to called them RC - retired catholics...anyhow, we agree! We are called to live our faith, if we don't we cant called ourself Christians and definitly not catholics.

Here's something to highlight my point:

Matthew 7:13-14 (Luke 13:24)

Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

I know not whether Hitler ever converted before he died, and that is between him and God....however as far as I'm concerned if you do not practise your faith - you're not Catholic...

I must also point out that if one considers catholic baptism the criteria to call someone catholic...what about converts who were baptised as Protestants? What does that make them?

Actually it does mean something. If you are baptised catholic, you are catholic until you repudiate the church and/or join another church. So if you are baptised catholic, and never enter another church til the day you die, you are catholic. You have been baptised into the Body of Christ and there you stay.
I find it silly that I should be arguing over Hitler :P:

Now there exists large amounts of speculation, however judging on his opinions and speeches I'm sure he was either a atheist or a pagan. Does that count for anything?
