1.The Fasting & Prayer Conference includes meals.

2. Our youth basketball team is back in action Wednesday at 8 PM in the recreation hall. Come out and watch us kill Christ the King.

3. The eighth-graders will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet in the Church basement Friday at 7 PM. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy.

4. The Associate Minister unveiled the church's new tithing campaign slogan last Sunday: "I Upped My Pledge - Up Yours"

Come and listen to Fathers sermon titled "what is hell" come early and listen to our choir practice

There will be a bean supper in the hall next saturday. music will fallow.

there will be a white elephant sale next week. its a good time to get rid of useless things around the house. wives dont forget your husbands

One of my favorites was in a parish I formerly attended. The church secretary, whose first language is Spanish, had typed up a notice about something or other and intended to say that "sign up sheets will be in the back of the sanctuary after Mass." However, instead of "sheets" she substituted the "ee" with the letter in Spanish that makes the same sound -- "i".

I was ROLLING.
