I'd like to play, but I'm not sure if I can connect.

I'm in Virginia, so what time is that over here? 12ish?

It's 10:00 where I'm at... I'm in Florida. I use central time because that seems to be what most who play go by.

Should be just an hour difference.

If you want, we can test it out...

Get TeamSpeak so that I can help you out while talking instead of typing...
http://www.goTeamSpeak.com

Go to "Downloads"

Download the Client version.

Oh, you have a head set with mic don't you? If not, if you have at least a mic, you'll have to make sure your speakers are far enough away from the mic so you don't get feedback.

Once you get TeamSpeak, post here and I'll start up my server.

You'll have to forward your ports from the wireless router.

Find the manual for the wireless router, or download it from the manufacturer. Look for how to forward ports.

Basically the router is on the Internet and you are on a local area network. Not being able to connect has nothing to do with being wireless.

A computer has 64,256 ports for programs to connect to. Many games use more than one port for multiplayer. On one of the other threads, I have the ports listed to forward... once you forward them from the router to your computer (you'll need to know your IP) everything should be good.

To find your IP, go to start, then programs, accessories, then click "Command Prompt"

Type: ipconfig

Your IP will be something like 192.168.0.101

Good Luck & God Bless,

I found this for people having problems with wireless routers, etc:

Fix it and let's play!
