Carrie
I love November Rain but I also love Welcome to the Jungle. My parents used to listen to it all the time and it just kinda grew on me. I don't like that milkshake song though...I don't know why, but it just doesn't float my boat. Seatbelt...Mrs. Potter's Lullabye is an INCREDIBLE song. I love the Counting Crows...more of my favs by them are Round Here, Long December, and Yello Taxi
frozencell
So ... everyone is Guns and Roses? No SF59, ...no Beulah? I love starflyer 59, except all their cd's i had got stolen a long time ago. i was pretty mad about that one! i think right now my favorite songs are: "the son stills shines" - fr pontifex "everything" - LSU (lifesavers underground) "hate me" - criss angel "leave me alone" - argyle park as you can probably see, i listen to a lot of stuff no one has heard of... :D i don't like guns n roses. but i do like "crazy train" by ozzie. :punk:
frozencell
"You Wanna Get Me High" by the Donnas (I have EVERY DONNA'S autograph on my copy of The Donnas Spend The Night!) The Donnas kind of bore me for the most part....all she talks about in everyone of her songs is how wasted she can get and how many guys she can "do" in a city..... The breeders are good, though.

Azriel
I love this thread! Hated G n R back in the day because of the stupid Welcome to the Jungle video that played 24/7. Love them now though. Queen rocks my socks. But, my fav band nowadays is Barenaked Ladies. Unless you've seen them live, you can't get the full effect. They are just all around fun. Oh, and I love No Doubt. and the Donnas and ... oh man, I could go on forever. I love my music. Once upon a time I was a bass player ... many moons ago. Seatbelt Blue
First, I think "Happiness is a Warm Gun" was a beatles song off the white album, so give credit where credit is due. You are quite right, but I was referring to the Breeders' version, which I like I think is one of their better recordings.
MrsFrozen
i loved the White Stripes "Seven Nation Army". That is a cool song. Yeah, I like it, too.. I like The White Stripes a lot. Mariposa Traicionera by Mana is also up on my list along with Sitting on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding (and a little less by Pearl Jam). Oh, and pretty much any song by The Man in Black, Johnny Cash.
