ahem

"Oh, once you get involved,

Everyone will look this way so,

You must maintain your charm,

Sametime maintain your halo,

Just get the perfect blend

Plus what you have within."

13th floor/growing old off Atliens by Outkast. that song makes me grow up more and more everytime i hear it. do yourselves a favor and check it out. it has the noise of a bong in the back ground but beside that it is undescribable art and respectable emotion.

i used to like time by pink floyd. ahh how people change....

that is off the chain, I remember those jams back in high school. "me and you, your momma and your daddy too........."

You remember wheels of steel?

And thomas Micheal " I like the way you move" is better.

wow, Lil Red Devil, I love Queen too! I really want their three disc greatest hits set!!!!

Oh and Hey Ya has got to be one of the most addictive songs of the year! But I think the video is classic. I absolutely love it! It makes me so happy.

Right now I count among my favorite songs "Hey Ya" by Outkast, "More To Life" by Stacie Orrico," and "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne.

And for those of y'all who like Guns 'n' Roses' song "November Rain," I want y'all to know that I can't stand it. I find the song and video very depressing. The song actually makes me cry. Long story as to why, though.

November Rain is a depressing song, I agree. If I actually listen to the lyrics they will make me cry too. Stairway to Heaven is like that too. It is really depressing.

The song I will cry every time I hear is that one by Mariah Carey and Boyz to Men about seeing a person after they die....cant remember the song title, but I start bawling whenever I even think about that one.

Stacy's Mom totally sticks in my head too. Makes me think of the 80s.

I also like Maroon 5's "Harder to Breathe", and Audioslave "Like a Stone" and Coldplays "Clocks" and Matchbox 20: anything of theirs. Its been a good year for rock.

i loved the White Stripes "Seven Nation Army". That is a cool song.

I have two of their albums, and I love them. I don't even think Seven Nation Army is the best song on the Elephant album but that's the one every one plays (I still like it though).

LOL

The music video is what I don't like about it. Its a bit perverse. I still can't get the song out my head now.

I've honestly never heard the milkshake song, Hyper, sorry. BTW, aren't you supposed to be sleeping?

OK, my favorite (at this time) is “Anthem” by Leonard Cohen.

But also on my top five is:

2) “Housewife Love Song” by Starflyer 59

3) “Landslide Baby” by Beulah

4) “Suffocate” by Ebonhand

5) and Elvis’ “A Little Less Conversation” remixed by JXL

I wanted to fit Rancid’s “Arrested In Shanghai”, Crashdog’s “Vent”, and Sex Pistols’ “Bodies” on that list… maybe next time. Maybe I am not feeling very punk this holiday season.

So ... everyone is Guns and Roses?

:(

No SF59, ...no Beulah?

First, I think "Happiness is a Warm Gun" was a beatles song off the white album, so give credit where credit is due.

Here's my list of top 5 favorite songs in no particular order.

1. "Lover You Should Have Come Over" - Jeff Buckley

2. "Wonder" - Natalie Merchant

3. "Till I Hear it From You" - Gin Blossoms

4. "Satisfied Mind" - written by David Houston, recorded by Jeff Buckley

5. "Slave" - David Garza
