lucybeebee
I'm trying to re-learn Latin from some books that I used when I studied it in high school, but it's classical Latin. Do I need to get books that are specifically about eccesiastical Latin or can I keep using what I already have?
Pio Nono
JMJ 3/15 - Second Wednesday of Lent lucybeebee, I studied classical Latin and am just fine when I use Church Latin; the two have almost identical grammar (if not exactly identical). It is only the pronunciation that is different, and you can learn that from a Latin-lover in your area. Classical is largely the more difficult of the two, so you'll be more proficient if you study it rather than Church Latin. Hope this helps. Yours, Pio Nono
