Ever had miraculous things happen in adoration?

Dust's Sister

hi guys, I've been going to adoration alot more this week then usual, and tonight I went in there and said the rosary, then I was going to leave after I said the rosary but all of a sudden I smelled this really nice smell, during the 3rd decade. So then I decided to stay and pray some more from my prayer book, and every once in a while I just got this really nice scent. Probably one of the nicest smells I've ever smelled.

So anyways have any of you smelled any nice scents during adoration? or seen a vision of anything in the Eucharist?--- or have you heard any stories?

Definately understand what you mean! I've had a vision while before the Blessed Sacrament, but not of anything in the Eucharist.

That's really cool.

While I personally have not had similar experiences my daughter has had a few, a couple I have been fortunate enough to witness. I don't understand them all yet but in time I'm sure I will.

Praise God!

Ash Wednesday

Wow! I was just about to start a topic about this, no joke. I smelled roses in my room this evening. There are no roses in here. It's not from a shampoo, perfume, soap, hair gel, or anything I have -- I'm selective about products because I have dry sensitive skin and all that. I checked the hall by my neighbor's room -- and out there I smell nothing but ....chinese food or something like that from the kitchen. I've been trying to say the rosary every day for lent, and when I recently I went to confession the priest mentioned turning to the Blessed Mother for help. I started to cry because that day I was also missing my earthly mother who is passed away. But after confession I sat in a Mary chapel at a church here and felt very comforted by her. So lately I've been specifically praying to Mary especially during Lent. So I thought it was interesting that I smelled them this evening at home.

I have smelled it at adoration before, I think a couple of times.

Sometimes I've considered that perhaps it's my imagination. But perhaps not...

I did read a story by someone who consecrated themselves to Mary through St. Louis de Montfort and they attended mass that day and were overwhelmed by a very sweet smell of roses.

^That's very awesome! I'm saying the rosary once a day for Lent now too. Once I do it for lent, I will probably do it for the rest of my life cuz I will be use to it, plus it brings you closer to the Lord. :) :) :)

I've heard of this before. My wife sees the face of Jesus in the Eucharist. My brother has been outside of his control brought prostrate before the Eucharist. For about a year I shook in the prescence of the Eucharist. It happened in Mass at the consecration as well.

I'm on a team that gives youth retreats. We always have adoration for the kids. For some of them, this is a first time experience and every time without fail Our Lord reveals his face in the Eucharist to at least one kid. It's so beautiful!!

wow that sounds really awesome! it sounds like you guys have been to adoration a lot, but i have only been once, at a retreat a couple of weeks ago. before i went i had been bogged down with all of my earthly troubles and depression. i had actually been hiding out in my cabin before we had to go. the moment i knealt before the Eucharist, i immediately felt the presence of Christ rush through my entire being, and knew for the first time that everything was going to be all right. i was crying the entire hour and a half and went back with my counselor as soon as i could. i didn't want to leave when i had to and asked for extra time. it was probably the single most moving event in my entire life, and has brought me so much closer to the Lord. i hope that one day i'll be close enough to smell these roses!
