Thy Geekdom Come
What do you do when a person in indirect authority over you, who knows more about the subject at hand, but is at most dead wrong and at least avoiding the issue (which is a pressing one), basically tries to tell you that there is no problem at all? If I stand up for what I know is right, I'll get shut up and possibly get others in trouble and myself as well. If I don't stand up, the thing I know is wrong continues. cmotherofpirl
Is this something that you should be discussing publicly?

franciscanheart
I'm not sure what's going on and really it would depend on the situation to what extent you take your arguments. I would consult someone you trust on the matter.
cmotherofpirl
The trouble is no one can answer you unless they know the details which you cannot post here. Maybe this should be a PM topic.
Thy Geekdom Come
A conclusion can be formed without knowing the particulars.
Era Might
I'd say do what you can, but know when to "shake the dust from your feet". If they will not listen, don't get yourself in trouble over a cause (unless it's like an abomination of some sort). Make yourself known, and let them do what they will with what you have told them. That said, and not knowing the particualrs of your situation, i would reccomend finding a person who you can trust and can help with your situation.
