Dust's Sister
hey guys have you ever had a crush at Church?... well let me tell you something... everytime I go to 1 o'clock Mass there is this guy who sits at around the same spot as I go, and when I look at him he always seems so spiritual, and sooo "into" the Mass. I see him and I think he's with his mom whenever he comes. But it's like, there's something about him that I think makes him special. Anyways he's seen me a few times I think, but sometimes I just want to go up to him and say something. Today at Ash Wednesday I seen him there and I seen him, I think I smiled, but I dunno if he seen me smile (this was as I was leaving Mass) I was kinda far away, ... but anyway I'm too shy to say hello. Even if he isn't interested in dating; which I'm not really interested in dating right now anyway... I just think he would be a really cool friend to have..... what would you do? RobLuv4God
If I were you, once I was close enough to say something, I'd say "hi, how are you?" And then, when you see each other again, he may say Hi to you and could possibly be the start of a beautiful friendship. You never know. MilesChristi
My advice...just go up and introduce yourself after Mass sometime. Judging from your description of this guy, I don't see why you need to feel hesitant about approaching him. If the Lord is dwelling in his heart and your heart, you already have everything in common that really matters.
Ash Wednesday
Have I ever had crushes at church? Boy did I ever. Living in a college town is a high school girl's dream. There was one guy I had a big crush on... I'd pay a whole lot of attention to him.... while he was devoutly paying attention to the mass. Probably moreso than anyone else in the church. I should have just followed his example. But I was a teenager, so what can I say?
