dspen2005
i noticed in that link a point wherein the author tells us -- presumably citing official Church law -- that on days wherein Solemnities fall on a penitential day we are "neither to abstain nor to fast". then further down, that what is explained is only the minimal regulation and that one may impose upon himself to abstain completely during Lent. Would this include Solemnities/Sundays? would that somehow be a violation of Church Law, wherein we are told "neither to abstain nor to fast" on these days?
